    Xbox Series S constantly powering off


    When I first bought my Xbox Series S, it was working perfectly fine. Back in August while playing GTA V Online, my system began turning itself off randomly, more so while doing “heists” with others. I looked up ways to help with this issue, and none of them have helped. I have now factory reset the system and it wont even let me log in without turning itself off.

    This is the second Xbox Series S I have had this problem with. It is plugged directly into an outlet. I have tried a power cord, different outlets within my home, outlets in my friend’s homes, and nothing seems to help the issue.

    My device is not part of the Insider Program. The same problem is occurring.

    No I don’t have anything connected. It finally let me log in, but I am still having the same issue of it turning itself off. Now it is when I log in or try to check my “Owned Games.”

    Where would I find the Insider build / beta OS information? I am unsure if my console has those..

    You can double check if the console is part of the insider program following these steps

    "Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox or a Windows device.
    On the main landing page, select Settings.
    Select Manage devices and choose the one you want to remove from the program.
    Select Done."

    Yes, if I connect to a different Wi-Fi network, the issue continues. I was just able to do the system update and it didn’t work. The system still turns off when I try to open any game or app.

    Sadly everything is pointing to be a hardware problem

    This can be a bit odd, but if you try connecting the console to a different wifi network the issue persist?

    And, to cover everything from your side and in case you didn't try it, could be nice perform an offline update for your console.
    In that way Xbox system will be installed from scratch.
