Xbox Series S can't output 1440p on a Benq 1440p monitor

Hi, I'm using a Benq 2K monitor with 2560*1440@60Hz and HDMI1.4(PD2500Q). When I connect Xbox series s to this monitor , xbox can only choose 1080p and unavailable to use 1440p.

Any reasons?

OR Xbox just can't support this monitor?

Regarding your issue, you will need to actually check on the monitor if it is compatible with the Xbox series S or not.

The maximum supported resolution of Series S will be 1440P. Series X just like the Xbox One X before it will support 1440P too.

It will work on your monitor, don't worry.

Until you don't proof me this specific monitor (Xiaomi Mi Curved 34) enables 1440p@120hz with Xbox Series X, your comment is meaningless.

Yeah, there are some monitors with 1440p@120hz support for Xbox series s/x, that simply doesn't mean that ANY 1440p+ monitor with 120hz+ (especially 144hz+) can do it. Period.

I've tried everything, that (1440p@120hz) simply doesn't work with that monitor. I've already listed every step I've tried, I'm not gonna write it again.

Not necessarily. If your particular Series S game runs at 1440P and you have the display set to 1440P @60Hz then it will look far better.
