Xbox series s broke exactly one month after warranty ran out. Anyone else have this issue?

It definitely sounds like a problem with the disc drive, it's a very common problem with the Xbox One, unfortunately this happened to me a month after my warranty ran out, I have now found out I can't add additional warranty as it can only be purchased 45
days after the warranty has ran out, so I'm basically left with a useless and worthless overpriced xbox. If you have the warranty i highly recommend you send it off and get it repaired now and definitely consider getting the additional warranty, these xbox
one's are very temperamental.

You haven't used your Xbox in a few months, so the RROD after the update was just a coincidence.

Also, YOUR PS3 may still be working, but mine went YLOD right after it ran out of warranty. It can happen to anything.

You can't expect anyone to give out warranty repairs after 5 years. Of course you're going to have to pay for repairs. Or not...in which case, see ya!

I have this exact issue but could not find anyone else with the same. It is happening to me on the xbox series s.

No Luck..........Broke out the box like everybody else.....Very poor QC on Microsoft. Thanks for the tips but none of the stuff works. It just broke out the box. The answer is replace it and get a extended warranty. I'm sure the drive will fail after a
year warranty is up and then you get *** again.
