Xbox series s 512gb

Discus and support Xbox series s 512gb in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I just bought a 512gb series s and after I hooked it up I noticed the storage had only 364gb.     I just bought a 512gb series s and after I hooked it up I noticed the storage had only 364gb. Why is that?

    Looking into XBox One X

    1. The Series X comes with 1TB. The Series S comes with 512GB.

    2. That may be the Series S which is smaller than the Series X.

    Because of the way storage device space is calculated, they are advertised as having a bit more spcae than they actually do. Then you add in system files the console needs to run and that takes up space as well.

    A 512BG storage drive is actually 476GB. The system reserves around 112GB, hence 364GB available on your console.
