    Signed up for twitter.. got the notifications days in advance 11 EST

    Signed into my microsoft account 15 minutes before and pressed the freaking refresh button twice a minute.

    Jumped into the pre-order, selected the x-series and 3year protection and jumped to the payment check out and got dumped??

    Went back in 1 minute later... SPENT once per minute for 180 minutes retrying the checkout button trying to pay for the order but the checkout button saying "Something went wrong. Please try again in a while". Refresh the browser and boom
    out of stock. Took 50 screens shots to show the length of the order.

    Seriously... what does MS expect more from its long term users other than to have their account upto date with credit card info ready, signed in and refreshing the order. So disappointed in MS. Seriously considering changing to Sony.

    It would have taken nothing..... for MS to send out a pre-invite to its REGISTERED XBox users... This lack of foresight for its
    existing customer base is atrocious.

    The Microsoft Store was a horrible experience.

    I have an order number and am at payment screen. I finally was able to speak to someone and he told me they are sold out. He took my phone number and said they will have more pre orders available later. Was anyone else told that?

    I could never get that page to load when clicking "Pre-Order". Every time it would error out. I tried Amazon and the page wouldn't load (the specific one for Series X, all others loaded fine). Tried Best Buy and got all the way to the "Place Order" button,
    clicked it and it wouldn't go through.

    Eventually it removed it from my cart "due to high demand". I know the issue was NOT on my end because I had already been livestreaming school, email, etc. prior. I was signed in at least 20 mins early (10:40AM EST).

    Now all the people who didn't want a Xbox Series X are selling them for almost double if not more on eBay and no one will do anything about it. You can't even report the items for price gouging because I tried and it's not a selectable report category.
    Sorry heavy traffic and overload are no longer valid excuses it's 2020 not 2005.

    I got in through the All Access preorder, got approved and took a hard hit on my credit, then got kicked at the cart.

    I would have never applied for the credit, if I knew I wouldn't get the product after the application. Been an xbox customer since the OG xbox, but this is BS

    Same boat here. I am done with Microsoft. If they can’t even figure out how to sell their new console to us honest consumers, they are not getting my money. All the “flippers” out there flooded the sites with bots buying up 5, 10, 15 xboxes when it’s supposed
    to be one per customer. Then they post them immediately on eBay for 4 times MSRP. Same with all the online retailers. And we’re not talking about small businesses or “Joe’s Computer Shack.” We’re talking about the biggest of the big online retailers: Microsoft,
    Amazon, WalMart, Target, GameStop, Target.

    My experience - for all of these retailers, I have current accounts with accurate addresses and payment info; double checked yesterday to prepare for this.

    Microsoft: had it in my cart with protection plan, but it repeatedly wouldn’t take my payment, with 3 different methods. Then it wouldn’t accept my billing address that’s been on file for over 5 years. Finally got a Purchase button, and now it keeps saying
    unable to make purchase.

    Best Buy: Wasn’t even available for 45+ minutes, then came up. Got one in my cart with protection plan, and it wouldn’t let me check out, just timed out with a message saying something went wrong, try later. EDIT: now out of stock.

    WalMart: had one in my cart, but before I could finish entering my info, it was out of stock.

    Target: wouldn’t let me add to my cart, then when it did, wouldn’t let me check out.

    Amazon: wasn’t available for preorder for 45+ minutes, then finally showed up, added to cart and before I could click Order, it was out of stock.

    EDIT: GameStop: in the queue for 35 minutes, then it let me add one to the cart, but was sold out when I clicked Order.

    I guess I will just play my Series One X until it’s end of life, then I’m done with game consoles. This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever seen. Shame on you Microsoft for not learning from how bad Sony screwed it up.

    It should.be noted if yoi are using chrome or safari thats the issue its best to use firefox or edge for most websites as they are more compliant
