Xbox series elite 2 controller stick drift / Stick sticking

I've been through 3 of these elite controllers now over the last 2 weeks. First one I bought was the "elite 2 core" And that came with stick drift on both right and left I then got a replacement for it and it came with the same exact problem with the stick drift on both sticks so I decided to just return the controller but I looked at reviews saying it was because the core was cheaper than the original in material wise so then I decided to get the original series 2 controller it came today and yet again it has stick drift on both sticks, I've looked everywhere on this topic but not alot of people are talking in detail about it I just need help/information on this because in mw3 the sticks (when I test deadzones) literally just stick at a angle when I move them lightly to any direction at 4% and stay there until I manually reset them to the middle by moving them but in the Xbox accessories app EVERYTHING IS FINE no Analog sticking no nothing and it sucks because the controller feels perfect and I CANNOT USE Ps controllers they don't feel right with the stick being close, Here's my questions and I'd appreciate y'all if you could answer them. *OUTTA THE BOX BRAND NEW NOT USED ALL 3 TIMES*

1. Is there a setting I need to change for it to stop doing this (I've been through accessories already and changed the curves but it didn't fix it)

2. Is this just how the controller is? since the sticks are metal and heavy

I bought a pdp £30 controller from game a year ago and I've dropped it soo much over the year that the left stick click in stopped working but the left and right sticks still don't have drift on them which is soo odd since this is £150 outta the box has sticking Analog sticks compared to a light flimsy £30 controller That's a year old and dropped multiple times works flawlessly, This is my first expensive pro controller so I have no idea if it should just be like this.

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

I have two original elite controllers and one pf the new elite 2 controllers that I got my son for Christmas. They all have drift issues with the left sticks. I hd thought it would be addressed with the new version, but I guess not. Please help
make this right.

Unfortunately, stick drift seems all too common in this current generation on Xbox, on PS4, and even on Switch. I wonder if it's because so many games use the sticks at buttons as well, which is leading to extra pressure being exerted? I've lost many controllers
to stick drift, and looking at the forums and reddit, a lot of people are complaining about stick drift issues from day one with the Elite series 2. Fingers crossed that Xbox can address the issue for everybody affected by it.

I'm sorry to here that sadly I had my elite series 2 controller do the same thing, it started with the x button and then the bumpers, I noticed stick drift of both the sticks, sadly when I went to the store to exchange it for another one they had no
elite series 2 controllers in stock, I switched to the Razer wolverine ultimate edition and so far its a great controller

You can recalibrate the controller or get the newer gen controllers which dont have the issue there is 3 brands

Turtle beach recon (wired )and stealth ultra wireless (yes the sticks aren't the only new feature, pdp bfg , some other brand I can't think of

You can research each one and see which one fits your needs

my 1st elite: crash gumi grips. send back to service, but i buy a new one for this 2 week. Try this new: right stick drift to right...

ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.
