    Xbox series controller pressing random buttons on its own


    Just got a brand new controller and a month later every button from triggers to joysticks have randomly bugging out in every game I play. I’m playing an fps called destiny 2 and when I aim I sometimes shoot with pressing the trigger Or when I sprint I immediately stop sprinting. In other games my RT button will not stop pressing on its own. Does anyone have a solution?

    I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with your Xbox Series X controller. Here are some possible solutions you could try:

    Restart your Xbox console: Press and hold the power button on your Xbox console until it turns off. Next, disconnect the Xbox Series X from its power source. Turn off the Xbox controller and remove its batteries. Finally, connect and turn on your Xbox Series X.

    Restart the controller: Press and hold the power button on the controller for several seconds until it turns off. Then turn it back on.

    Pair the controller with the console again: Press and hold the sync button on the console until the power button flashes. Then, press and hold the sync button on the controller until the lights on the controller flash.

    Ok, I think you just register the console....then call support (use the "have them call you back option" unless you like holding on) they will give you a SR # (service request) and start a ticket......then they will email you with the sad news that YOU have
    to drive and ship it to them after YOU pay the postage to do that, WHEN they get yours, they will send you one back (that is misleading though as they got mine Dec 27 and have yet to send me anything back and from what ive read here on this forum, expect at
    least a month)........I was told by them I should just "buy another one"...........
