    Xbox Series Controller issues over Bluetooth with Windows 10


    First thing I did wit the new Xbox Series Controller was to pair it with my Windows 10 PC other Bluetooth and the plug in the controller to update the firmware of it to v5.5.2641.0 . I continued to play some games with it plugged in but eventually unplugged
    it to see it still connected but without the game registering the switch of devices.

    The problems persists on other Windows 10 devices but not on my Android 10 phone.

    Sort of related. The default name of the controller as a Bluetooth device was set to Xbox Controller [########] and I can not find a way to change this fact.

    the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.
