    Xbox Elite Controller 2 will not connect VIA usb or Bluetooth to my pc

    The original XBox Elite controller requires the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 so without that adapter it will not be recognized properly by Windows. The newer, Elite Series 2 can connect to a Windows 10 PC without the need of an adapter.

    I also tried scanning with the commands
    1)sfc /scannow
    2)DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    I can't do system restore because it's disabled.

    If that's your case, try each possible solution below:

    A. Open task manager and go to the startup tab, once there click "disable" on each app listed there

    After that, Restart the PC and see if the problem is solved

    B. Do a clean boot in your Windows PC. For that, please follow this article:
