Xbox Series Controller and iPhone not working

    Xbox Series Controller and iPhone not working


    I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. It seems the Xbox Series Controller and iPhone are not working together. Can anyone else confirm this or if they got it working? I am able to connect it via Bluetooth, but the Xbox app and no other
    apps recognize it.

    Hi,

    The design lab controllers work on the same devices as regular and Elite controllers, this includes iPhone (iOS13 and above), Android, Windows 10 and Xbox One. They will also work on Series X when it releases later this year.

    Yes, elite series 2 is not supported yet.

    Xbox One S Controller (Model 1708) can pair with iphone.

    Hi Kathy

    1) Power cycle the controller

    I have done this many many times and still does not work

    2) Update controller

    Controller is fully up to date, still does not work

    3) Try the controller on Xbox

    Tried on Xbox series x and the Xbox button works as normal

    4) Try using controller on mobile/other pc

    Tried on my iPhone and the xbox button works as normal. Do not have another pc to try it on.

    Seems the Xbox button is working just fine though just not with the Xbox game bar.

    Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

    I have tried a test with the controller with iOS, since iOS can now use bluetooth controllers, for fun i paired a standard Xbox1 controller and worked no problem, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 does not pair with my iPhone 11 Pro Max where the
    standard Xbox 1 controller does.

    While I dont use my phone for playing games, i just thought to try it out for fun

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with connecting your Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 to your iPhone. Have you attempted to restart your device? You may want to check with Apple for support on the iPhones not finding a Bluetooth
    signal.
