The chip shortage which was a long time coming and affecting everything from phones computers consoles and even cars or your fridge or microwave

And the pandemic

I did the same thing but it's not confirming I bought it.

And not only that it doesn't appear on my download queue but when I check online through the xbox website it says I purchased it but not on my console itself... It basically thinks i never bought when I know I did... What do I need to do?

If you purchased the game on your Xbox 360 console and you're not seeing it in the downloadable queue then please do the following:

Go to your Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History. If you've purchased it on the console using this gamertag then you should be able to initiate the re-download from there.

When you purchase the content on the website it automatically queues it up for download on the console.

Yes, make the purchase on the website. The purchase will go through and will queue the downloads to start the next time you turn on your console.
