Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller (thumb stick drift problems)

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

I've been playing Xbox ever since the early days of the Xbox 360 and quite honestly I've never had this issue with an Xbox 360 controller ever. Since I've been playing so long I figured I'd invest in a high
quality controller. I was a bit late to the game and I missed out on the first Elite controller they released for the Xbox One so I ended up buying the second. After doing some research a common complaint about the first Elite controller was that after a while
"Phantom Drift" or just simple controller drift was occurring in the left and right thumb stick. I purchased the Elite Series 2 controller on January 7th of this year and already I'm experiencing awful controller drift in my left thumb stick. At first, the
drift had only gone upwards and wasn't that big of a deal to work around but it got worse. About a week later I can't even set the controller down for a minute without it starting to drift in BOTH directions. Now is there anything I can do to fix this? Is
there a way to repair it without paying upwards of $100? The 90 day warranty is gone as well so I'm lost.

device service support page, there might be an option for you to get it replaced and a price cheaper than getting a new one.

When you get the chance, check that page out for the Out of warranty repair cost.
