Xbox serie S : Starfield [Crashes/Freezes issues]

Hello

I am playing Starfield on Xbox Serie S. The more I play, the less the game is stable. It crashes/freezes every one hour now (i have been playing more than 150h and the issue started around my 35th hour of playing). I have to reboot my Xbox Serie S every hour to play the game, that is annoying.

I am not the only one with this issue but as we seems to be a "minority", nobody seems to care : I made a ticket to Bethseda, but given the pace they are adressing problems and releasing patches (almost nothing since the game release), that seems the least of their worries. So i give my issue to the company above Betheseda and Zenimax : Microsoft.

Hoping that this issue will be solve quicky.

Forza motorsport unplayable on series s, Darktide unplayable on series s, starfield unplayable on series, Gotham knights unplayable on series s... All these day one release from gamepass crash with in a couple mins and are unplayable please fix.

So I’m having the problem where my husband and I share the Xbox S. I have game pass. The Xbox is set for me as the home user not him. However he can play starfield with no problems on his profile but my profile keeps crashing just on this game. Even when I start a new game.

I'm sorry you're having issues with Starfield on your Xbox Series S.

Restart the game: You can restart the game by accessing the main menu, using the ☰ button on your controller to select the game, and then selecting Close game

Restart your console: If the crashes continue to occur, the next step would be to restart your console

Delete local save files and sync back to the cloud: Make sure your Xbox Series X/S console is connected to a stable internet connection. Make sure previous save files have been synced correctly before deleting them. Then, tap the Xbox button on the controller. A guide will open. Choose the “My games & apps” option, then go to See all > Games. Select Starfield and then tap the Menu button or Xbox button on the controller. Choose the Manage game and add-ons option. Then select Saved data. Finally, delete everything in Save Data, which will delete all local saves. Then, follow the instructions on the screen and the next time you launch the game, the cloud saves will sync again if you are connected to the Internet.

It’s the same with my series X. Everything is fine on my end. The game either freezes or crashes at least 5 times a play through. I heard Starfield can’t keep up with the graphics that X expects on their end.

I also experience frequent crashes in destiny 2 since light falls release on my Xbox series x. The only other game that constantly crashes is starfield. No other game crashes, example: dead by daylight, Diablo 4 or cyberpunk. Seems to be a hardware issue that Microsoft refuses to officially acknowledge.
