Xbox sent in for repair, wasn’t fixed

I was having a problem with trying to play games on my series X but almost every game has flashing lights and rainbow colors all over instead of how it’s supposed to look. I sent it in to be repaired but the issue wasn’t fixed at all and I still can’t play most of my games. I’m very disappointed. I opened red dead redemption to test it out and when the gameplay happens it’s a black screen. Other games are still very very glitchy and have rainbow colors and flashing lights instead of how it’s supposed to look, just like before I sent in the Xbox. I waited a week just for it to not be fixed at all, and if anything it’s gotten worse.

I would send it back to repair!!!

I'm surprised that you were able to get a disc back because it does state that any extra stuff sent wont be returned. Just open up a repair request again.

I think thats what I’m gonna have to do if the power supply isn’t the issue. It’s a little furstrating that it takes sending it away more than once just to get it repaired

I was also surprised. I only mentioned it so they knew, if the game was lost or wasn’t sent back I wasn’t gonna be too upset or anything

The E68 error message is an error code for hard drive failure. There is nothing wrong with your xbox, the hard drive has gone kaput. Only way to fix that is to go and get a new one and pop it in, problem solved.

And no, you cannot save the data off the bad drive and attempt to transfer it over to the new one, if your drive is in such bad shape that it is giving off the E68 error code, there's no recovering it. On the bright side it will make for a good paperweight
or door stopper...

More than likely, Xbox repairs tend to send out refurbished models because it is a faster turn around than waiting for the one you sent in to be fixed. You'r would have then been sent out to some one else a few repairs later when it was fixed.
