The microsoft family application is useless - such a disjointed offering across all microsoft services. Expect this from an amateur company not a world leader in technology.,

    Hello Jivraj Kainth,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems that you're experiencing issues with the Microsoft Family application especially not receiving the notification from the app. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner.

Firstly, I would recommend checking your notification settings to ensure that you have enabled notifications for the Microsoft Family application. You can do this by going to the Settings app on your device, selecting Notifications & actions, and then scrolling down to find the Microsoft Family app. From there, you can toggle the switch to enable notifications.

If you have already enabled notifications and are still not receiving them, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft Family application. This can help to resolve any issues with the app that may be preventing notifications from being sent.

Additionally, you can check the following article provided in the link below for reference:

My dad is getting some of my microsoft emails. How do I remove that email because he is soon going to lose access to it.

    Hello grant tyler,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the description, your purchase has been managed by your parent or organizer under Xbox Family Setting app allowing the notification send to the email account of the organizer. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner.

The reason why an email is sent to the organizer's Microsoft account it is because your purchase is managed by your parent under Xbox Family Settings app. This is how it was setup by the organizer of Xbox Family Settings app. It is only the parent and organizer can make any changes on the account settings. By default, a child account is set to require an adult's approval before a child can make a purchase through their account. See the link below:

    Parents/owners of family group notifed

Hi WillDevons, my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

No, parents will not receive notifications when a child purchases a subscription if spending notifications are disabled for the child's account.

Spending notifications are a setting that allows parents to receive notifications when their children make purchases in the Xbox Store. If spending notifications are turned off, parents will not receive notifications about purchases made by the child, including the purchase of a subscription.

To turn off expense notifications for a child's account, follow these steps:

-Open the Xbox app on your console.
-Press the Xbox  button to open the guide.
-Select Profile & system > Settings > Account.
    -Select Family.
    -Select the child's name.
-Scroll down to the "Notifications" section.
-Uncheck the "Notify me about this family member's purchases" box.

Once you have turned off spending notifications, parents will not receive notifications when their child purchases a subscription. However, parents will still be able to see the child's purchases in their purchase history.

For your reference, I have included a link where you can find more details about the solution I suggested.

I hope the information I gave you has been useful to you, have a happy day.
