    Xbox Seagate 8tb external hard drive issues


    My Xbox hard drive is having a problem loading my games and I feel like it has something to do with the Xbox. When I first started up my Xbox all it showed was Xbox tips and all my games and apps were not visible and could not be used. When I restarted my console it said Xbox needs and update and it took 6.2gb, in the description it said “this update will require 6.2 gb and is needed to play any game. So I pressed update now and all looked good. That is until I went to my settings and pressed storage devices and it showed that my 7.3tb hard drive had 0.0gb of space left and 100% was used. I then pressed on it and pressed view contents but it said there was nothing there. Now I can’t access any of my games on the hard drive and any time I try to instal a game that was previously in the hard drive it keeps saying installation stopped. Does anyone have a solution or have/had this problem?

    I have a WD 8TB and a Seagate 8TB hard drive, no issues. Max overall is 16TB. You could in theory get a 10TB and a 6TB hard drive.

    That is a really good question and the answer is yes! I currently run (2) Seagate external hard drives with my XBOX One X. One is a 4TB and the other is an 8TB. :)
