Xbox screen stuck on zoom (not tv)

    Xbox screen stuck on zoom (not tv)


    left my controler on my bed today and as ive come back up i must have knocked a button as now my screen zoomed in and I'm unable to zoom out I've tried holding the x (centre) button and the small button to side to try access zoom that way to fix it but I
    can't even get onto that as for settings it zoomed in so much I can't see enough of screen to adjust it any ideas? Am I forever doomed

    Any way to Zoom in XBOX ONE?

    Hi,

    Is there anyway via the controller or even smartglass to zoom? My couch is far away from the tv and I can't always read what is on the screen so I would like to have the option to zoom in (and out)Xbox screen stuck on zoom (not tv) :).

    Aspect Ratio Automatically Changes

    When watching Live TV through the Xbox one it seems to change the aspect ration or zoom in on the screen. This cuts of the outer edges of the picture and the channel icon (usually displayed in the bottom right corner) is cut in half. We need to use the remote
    to watch our DVR recordings and this zoom cuts off the outer edges of the menu, making it very difficult to navigate the DVR screens, We have adjusted ever setting on the TV and bypassed the Xbox. Bypassing the Xbox corrects the issue but there is no TV setting
    that corrects the issue. This is something the XBox does. Please advise if there is a solution i am unaware of.

    solved the problem did the old turn it of walk away come back to it 5 min later sorted now no idea what was going off

    Hi

    With the Xbox One if you press and hold the power button on the controller until it vibrates and brings up the power off screen then press the view button on the controller activates and deactivated the magnifier on the console.

    Use Magnifier on Xbox One

    Screen Zoom

    My Xbox One X suddenly really zooms in. Not the magnifier issue, it's super zoomed in the corner of a screen at all times. Brand new xbox, tried resetting loads and just doesn't have any impact.
    In addition, some TV's have a zoom option as well. So if what has already been mentioned does not work, perhaps check the TV Zoom settings.

    I know my LG TV has Zoom options.

    This might be caused by your tv. Check to see that the screen is not zoomed in, cause some tvs (flat panels) give you the option to zoom in the picture. if that doesnt work try reseting it to factory standards if your able too.

    Yes I have checked the tv options. My cable is coming in fine no zoom. Its the xbox and tv and display offer no way to adjust screen size just resolution
