Xbox Says that I need to renew Game Pass subscription for a game that I already own on disc.

I have an Xbox 1s, and when I try to put in my Star Wars Battlefront game disc to play multiplayer it says "Looks like you need to renew EA play. If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game. If you tried to launch this from a disc-it might be dirty or damaged. (0x803f800d)"

I have Xbox gold, but not EA play and I have played this game on the same disk since 2016, I know it was/currently is on the game pass, so that may be where the Xbox is messing up because I had accidently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, so I cancelled my subscription a few days ago because I don't use it. I had EA play for a little bit until I cancelled my subscription to Game Pass Ultimate because I did not realize I was subscribed to it. This could be the cause of the issue; however, I have checked online, and it says that as long as you have Xbox Gold you don't need to buy EA play.

I have ejected and put the disk back in to no avail, I have also tried restarting and hard restarting my console, also to no avail, I am currently in the process of uninstalling and reinstalling, but since it is a pretty big game storage wise, it will take some time to do this.

Please if anyone could offer any solutions that would be great thanks!

Edit: I uninstalled an reinstalled and this did not work, it is still giving me the same message.

You say that you cancelled your subscription to Ultimate a few days ago, did you subscribe to Game Pass Core (sorta used to be Gold) after cancelling Ultimate? When you cancel Ultimate, it cancels all of it. Game Pass, EA Play, Online Multiplayer,...all of it. Once cancelled, you have no subscription at all and need to resubscribe to whichever level you want.

So, I used to play it from gamepass and then decided to use the disc I already had, on my old xbox one it worked perfectly fine. The xbox I also tested it on was a xbox one s. It's a terraria disc from a few years ago. But now when it doesn't detect the disc, it says I need to renew game pass like I don't own the game. I've also noticed that the disc looks different from my newer discs.

I own the games on disc, so I do not need game pass to play them. All you need is an Xbox Live Gold subscription, which I have.

If you do it that way, the Xbox that gets the physical disc install would need to have it's own Xbox Live account and Gold membership. The latter is needed to enable online multiplayer.

Keep in mind that as you have already seen, you won't be able to add a particular game title digital purchase to an account that already has the physical disc installed since that account already owns the content. One could add a Game Pass subscription though
and any games included in the Game Pass that you have physical discs for can then also be played without the disc installed (eg for me that is Halo 5 Guardians).

Unfortunately with 3 consoles, if you want to be able to use them all at the same time then you will need at least two Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and applicable games.
