Xbox Says SYSTEM UPDATE AVAILABLE When There Is None (2/2)

Hi, I am facing the error 002408 for the past 2 days. I checked for updates in the store and there is none available. How to solve this problem?

im having the same problem where none of the multiplayer updates are available to download, i luckily still had update 2 so i could still play onslaught but there are no other updates

The system is down been like that for 2 days none of what they are saying works they fix the system but it may take along time due to them being clowns

I scanned the web and read most of the threads that you probably did. One thing you did not mention was update compatibility. Different update level are known to cause problems. To remedy this:

1. Locate and delete the updates for GoW3 on all involved systems.

2. That leaves all the systems at equal update levels. Now:

a. Try the system link with none of the Xboxes connected to XBox Live

b. or log each system into Xbox Live and start the game and thus download the same update.

on my system, it says it requires a system update. it also says no update is availiable right now lol. no xbox live available.
