    Xbox says internet slow but it isn’t


    My Xbox is super glitchy gaming. The internal speed test says less than 100mbs, usually less than 50, and sometimes as low as 3. In edge running Google’s speed test it says 500. I’ve tried hard restarts on router and console. I’ve tried 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I’ve tried an alternate 50000 port. I’ve tried the console reset. My internet provider says they’ve got it set to pass through and the NAT always says open - they said it is the Xbox. I scoffed, but given the Edge results clearly it is the Xbox. Nothing posted as an answer on these forums has worked. What else is left to do?

    No error code.it just says must be online. When i go to settings I get the its all good message when i check the connection

    I turn off my Modem wait a minute turn it back on and when it is booted up, turn the Xbox back on and it works, happens a few times a year to me ,
