xbox says hardware fault and wont connect to network

I reported the fault and then didn't send it off within 30 days as was unwell - now out of warranty and I have to pay?? the xbox broke 6 weeks after buying brand new and had been played on less than 5 times!

Xbox One X forgetting the WiFi settings

Hi, my Xbox one X is forgetting the WiFi settings. It powers on and says no network available or set up if I power if off at the mains and restart the Xbox it then 'remembers' the wifi and connects. It fails to find the network 50% of the time. I've factory
reset the Xbox same issues. Is this a hardware fault?

Can't connect to internet, getting hardware problem message

Whenever I try to connect my console to a wireless network it says cannot connect and at the top says hardware problem. Any suggestions?

Good news! The console is warrantied for 1 year. As you've only had the console for 6 or so weeks, set up another repair.

Have you restarted your network hardware while the console is off and unplugged?

Are you using wired or WiFi to connect to your network hardware?

What type of xbox do you have?

If you're using wireless WiFi to connect to your network hardware, try connecting a wired ethernet cable instead and power cycle the network hardware.

Connect the cable while the console is off.

Also, contact your ISP to check your line for any faults on the connection.

This is not normal and you should investigate, as suggested above, your ISP and the network hardware you are using to connect your console to the internet and then to XBox Live.

It sounds like you have a network hardware or line fault, not a console fault.

If you discount all network hardware failures, I would suspect any peripheral device that has the same issue would require a repair, or update.

Check how old your hardware is, it could require a firmware update or replacement.
