    Xbox save taking too long to sync - possibly related to Starfield


    Current status: Xbox console is on, all games are closed.Try to launch Starfield on PC or Cloud, and it tells me its taking too long to sync.

    The message is almost immediate, I choose keep trying multiple times without success.I went back to Xbox console, loaded the save games, deleted a bunch of old entries to reduce the size of the savedata (from 600MB to 280MB).

    No apparent benefit, still same message.

    Question: Is there a way to force or check that saved games have been sync to the cloud, on the console?

    Q2: Is this possibly only an issue on Starfiled? I do this regularly on other games, and haven't had this issue before, but possible savegemes are much smaller

    Edit: Tested network connection on Console, and had no issues. Its a 1Gbps wired connection.

    This is certainly an issue with cloud saves for starfield.

    I have this issue syncing from series x to PC, and steamdeck.

    cloud is taking a long time to update.

    Can be fixed by just leaving your xbox running. I guess, giving it time to sync.

    I know there is a section about this but It only say about having 2 Xbox which isnt my case so the other Xbox must be the one o is playing starfield in the cloud

    Having exactly the same problem. I tried to continue Starfield on my PC after an XBox session. I get the "taking too long" message, which appears instantly, so it's obviously not a network issue. There are saves but they are several weeks old.
