After this account's initial enforcement action, a secondary, more thorough investigation was conducted. During this time, it was discovered that this account was harassing other players through written or verbal communications on Xbox Live. This can include the use of slurs, threats, trolling, or other attempts to abuse others. With that in mind, a new enforcement was issued to better match the account's overall violations.


Xbox Live has several features at your disposal for dealing with troublesome players, such as Mute and Block, and if you feel a customer has violated Xbox’s Community Standards, you can file a complaint. Even if you didn't start the argument, harassment is never permitted on Xbox Live, and players who engage in retaliatory abuse are just as likely to receive enforcement action as the other player.


We feel strongly that all gamers deserve to be welcomed, respected, and supported. No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you play, everyone deserves an enjoyable Xbox Live experience. If the actions of others result in a player feeling unwelcome or unsafe, the entire community is affected. Even if the behavior was intended simply as smack talk, when such language can abuse, demean, or otherwise cause genuine offense it’s no longer smack talk, but harassment.


During this suspension the account will be unable to access the Xbox Live service, including social features and online multiplayer.
