    Xbox s update fails at 58% from USB offline update


    Hi, I have been trying to update our XBox s, it fails when connected online, I have downloaded OSU1 to usb (correctly formatted), this is the only file on the USB and it gets to 58% and stops. I have tried factory reset, keep games, and full wipe, reboots
    and nothing works. Will it need to be sent away?

    I have similar errors with xbox one S. At the same date started to fail.

    I also change the hdd, and the offline update didn´t work. They said that the xbox is out of warranty because is from 2016, but the update was this year!

    I would try re-formatting the USB stick and downloading the offline update again. It could have got corrupted.

    (remember to safely remove the USB stick from your PC)

    If this fails again, then I would suggest that turning of the Xbox during the update has damaged the hard disk drive and will need repairing.

    Unable to startup Xbox One S

    Hi,

    My Xbox One S was unable to startup, so I tried to perform Offline System Update using USB drive.

    But during offline update using USB, step 1 and step 2 went successful. But during step 3 (42%), it goes into continuous loop of restarting and updating from (34% - 42%) and restarts and try again. This is in continuous loop.

    Please help what to do now.
