XBOX S error during setup

Hi, Rylonium.

Are you getting that error code during the update part of the setup process?

I'm trying to setup a new xbox one S, and am getting error code 0x89230011 during the update portion of the setup. Network connection is fine, I have another xbox one S from last year that is working correctly. I chatted with an online expert, after
troubleshooting his only recommendation is that the console is defective. But this is the second console, purchased directly from Microsoft, getting the same result. I haven't found a way to get an MS support on the phone during the virus. Anyone else having
similar issues?

will give you the easiest option to be placed in a queue to receive a callback from Xbox customer support. Direct Callback Steps:

1. https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Select "Account & profile" in the first drop-down and then "I need a Microsoft account" in the second drop-down
4. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in to your Microsoft Account at this point.
5. Once logged in, scroll down in the window to Other options and select Request a Call.
6. You can add additional information at this point if you'd like and then select Request call
7. A new window will open for you to enter your Country/region and your best contact number, then select Confirm and you'll be placed in a queue to receive a call back from Customer Support

If it is an Xbox One S or X then all you need is a power cable with the relevant plug for your region or a travel adapter. The S and X have a built in power supply that is dual voltage. During setup you will set your country/region along with all necessary
information. If you have an Xbox account already, just sign In and it will load all your details.

no error codes are displayed.

The Xbox is set to Germany and all other possible setting in the system of Xbox.

There is no movie DVD / Bluray.

The Blu-ray app freezes / crashes, no matter on which disc, the Xbox needs to be reset each time.

All regional settings are set to Germany as it is in the setup queried during the initial setup.
