    Xbox Right Stick Not Working Suddenly


    Hi! My Xbox one controller’s right stick suddenly stopped working out of nowhere. however, when I go to the test page it says it works fine. I tried troubleshooting, updating the controller and resetting the Xbox without removing the games. The only suggestion I’ve been getting from support is to do a factory reset of my console and erase all of my data. Does anyone know another solution that doesn’t require me to delete and redownload everything? Thank you in advance!!

    Hi Kaitlin!

    Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's do our best to sort this out.

    Have you already tested a different game if your right stick works normally? Does it work fine when navigating through your console's dashboard?

    There's a possibility that it's a stick drift where you need to have it replaced.

    Try as well to connect your controller to your console using a USB cable and see if the issue is still occuring.

    Don't forget to power cycle your controller by turning it off, remove batteries and wait few minutes before turning it back on.

    The controller works perfectly on other games but minecraft will not look around even when I change the control setup.
