Xbox rewards auto redeem bug workaround

Hi everyone if your looking for a workaround to the auto redeem gift card bug that won't stay active.

All you have to do is use your asus rog to apply it and it will stay active.

If you dont have one maybe ask a friend if you could sign in on theirs to fix the bug.

This is still happening for a lot of people on xbox I know, but this way with the asus rog has fixed it for myself and several others.

How do I get someone to actually help me turn off my rewards auto redeem since the app is bugged?

    Hi Valerie,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble turning off your rewards auto redeem due to a bug in the Xbox reward app. I understand your frustration with the automated responses you've been receiving.

You can turn off auto redeem by following these steps:

    - Sign in to your Microsoft account on a web browser.

    - Go to the Microsoft Rewards page and select Redeem.

    - Find the reward you want to turn off auto redeem for and select Manage.

    - Toggle the switch to Off.

However, if the app is bugged and the manage button is not available, you may need to contact Microsoft Rewards Support directly to resolve the issue. You can do so by filling out this form and providing as much detail as possible about your problem. Rewards Support (bing.com)

I hope this helps you get your rewards auto redeem turned off. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely

How do I stop auto redeem from happening on my reward points

In the end the manage option just appeared.

I turned the xbox on, left it for 10 mins, then loaded rewards and went to the auto redeem tab, and left that open for about 10 mins. It just appeared.

I don't know if this was just luck or due to a bug in the rewards app, but It might be worth trying.
