Xbox rewards aren't working.

Hi! My name is Aileen, and I’m an Xbox Expert and an Xbox user myself. I get how frustrating this is. I’ve felt the same when Rewards doesn’t track or the support path feels impossible to navigate. Just a quick reminder, this is a public forum, and I don’t have access to accounts or internal systems, but I’ll do my best to help based on what’s available.

If Xbox Rewards aren’t working or showing progress, here are a few things to check:

Sign in at https://rewards.bing.com and https://rewards.xbox.com using the same Microsoft account tied to your Xbox

Make sure you're completing the listed activities exactly as shown (some only track when launched directly from the Rewards app or homepage)

If you’re using Game Pass Quests, launch them from the Game Pass tab first

Wait a little — points sometimes take 24–48 hours to show up

Check your region settings; Rewards isn't supported in all countries, and even a mismatch in region/account can break tracking

If none of that helps, go to https://support.xbox.com, scroll to the bottom, and select Contact Us. When prompted, type “Microsoft Rewards” and follow the support tree carefully — it can take a few steps, but it’ll eventually guide you to chat or call options.

Keep in mind ms rewards isn't the same region as ms rewards for xbox

So if you aren't in a supported region it won't work

Hi there,

Try performing a hard reset by pressing the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts off completely. Then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. If it continues, submit an error report via this link.

You may find it is a temporary issue....I had the same issue with the Rewards app for a day but it resolved itself in the early hours of this morning

I have already tried this. As well as reinstalling the app.
