    I was on the phone with XboX support and they told me to create a forum post. I redeemed a 10$ Xbox credit from the rewards and it sent to an email that I no longer have access to. I need it sent to my correct email.

    Xbox Live Reward emails being sent to wrong email address

    For help with the Rewards program, you'll need to post here -
    forums.xbox.com/.../29.aspx


    That is really the only place to get support for the Rewards program which is why chat support were unable to help. Usually if you change the email on your account, you have to re-register for the program. But you may want to make sure that's what Rewards
    support suggests first.

    Xbox Live Reward emails being sent to wrong email address

    Long story- I changed my old and defunct email address and xbox passwords etc back in June,. This took a while because I no longer had access to the original email account (that I had signed up to xbox live with years ago). The friendly staff were very helpful
    and the problem was resolved after about a week to ten days. During the process I had given them an old, alternate email address to send me security info etc, but I did not use this account as my new (current) xbox live account.

    Recently I have decided to close the old email account as I no longer use it (and it has an embarrassing name. I have had it for years), I first checked the account to see if there was anything amongst the junk that I needed to update to my new email address,
    and there were quite a few xbox live reward emails. All other xbox email notifications go to my new email address.

    I tried explaining this to support via chat (for 40-50minutes), but you must have quite a few new staff for the launch or something as they were a bit less helpful and issue left unresolved.

    Basically, I am getting xbox live reward emails sent to the wrong email address. The wrong email address is not associated with my xbox live account. I have checked all my profiles just to be sure, and all are up to date with the correct email address. I'm
    guessing that something happened during the recovery stage back in June? I have also checked my current microsft xbox account to see if it is linked to the old email address (and vice versa) and it is not.

    It's strange that it is ONLY the xbox live reward emails that this happens with. All other xbox correspondence goes to the correct email address.

    Any help appreciated

    We have not had any offers that send Xbox Credit. It sounds like you may have confused us with Microsoft Rewards. This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards issues. You would have to reach out to Microsoft Rewards support for assistance with that issue.

    Xbox rewards are not sent via email so you would not have missed any rewards. Any emails that would have been sent would be updates on your rewards statement which you can via on the MyRewards section of the rewards site.

    To have emails sent when you get a post on the forums, you would need to change your settings at the top of the forums.
