Game saves are saved in the cloud, if your Xbox is connected to the internet, your saves are safe

If your console was connected to the internet, your save games should be saved in the cloud, therefore you can sync your data afterwards and continue from where you left off.

Hello no all the information will still be the same and saved on the cloud. As soon as you open up the game to play it will open up the saves from the cloud. If you dont want that you would have to start a whole new game.

As @Richard Vallis said, as long as you had your Xbox connected to the internet, your saved games should have been automatically uploaded to the cloud. So if you reset your Xbox, the saves will sync and be downloaded for you when you play again.

Just to reaffirm, all (most) saved game data is saved to your Xbox/Microsoft profile (more or less) and then to the cloud. Factory resetting the Xbox shouldn't remove any cloud storage saves/progress, since the cloud is always on by default. If you're still
