    Xbox Renewal didn’t work at discount rate?


    i tried to auto renew for the discounted price i believe was 23.99 or 27.99 30% off something like this. On the dasboard this option was avaliable on monday the 8th. I looked and saw myn was due to run out so i clicked to accept and thought i had purchased
    this. However, today i am now with no xbox live and now no discount price.

    i have been a loyal customer for 7 years now and i am just asking if it is possible to still get this promotion thanks.

    I don't know if this applies to everyone and this will only seem to work if you have a credit card on file with Microsoft, but once LIVE knows you're subscription is at its end the Dashboard will feature ads that offer a
    renewal at a discount. I've actually gotten a $24.99 one year subscription. Note: Once you have Automatic Renewal on after subscribing at Microsoft's discounts, you actually get to keep that lower rate!

    Live Auto-Renewal

    Discounts for XBox Live Subscription Cards from retailers are only discounted at the time of purchase. Automatic renewals are based off the regular purchase price.

    Promotions are shown at random so there is no way to force one. You would have to keep an eye on the dashboard to see if it shows up again.

    It looks like you bought this almost a year ago. Just know that when you renew for another year of Xbox Live Gold, it will be at the full going rate and not discounted.
