    Xbox remote play on Amazon Insignia Fire TV


    Anybody able to get this to work. I don’t see the app to download. I tried installing the APK and it did but just loads to a black screen then back to Amazon screen? Anybody get this to work. All I see on the internet is to use a fire stick. What about a fire TV?

    OP your best bet if money is a problem would just be to pick up a inexpensive tv like this

    it works better on PC. I bought an Amazon Fire TV and plugged it into my Xbox One and the app for Amazon works 100% better. You can also use the Watch ESPN app through the Fire TV once you have a Sling account.

    I have confirmed that my Xbox One is connected thru via HDMI (#3).

    My Bose Sound Bar is connected thru HDMI (#1)

    I also have an Amazon Fire stick connected via HDMI (#4). the remote control for that device works perfectly.

    My Tv is using Aquos Link

    When I use the volume control on my Xbox remote, this message pops up.

    "Set up device control to adjust Tv Audio"

    If you have an amazon fire TV stick I recommend you plug it into your TV directly as your Xbox 360 WILL NOT support it.
