    xbox remote play not working correctly


    when i start my remote play on my pc it will display a drone or rocket ship then turn completely black, ive tried unplugging hdmi and deleting and redownloading the xbox app for windows but still the same problem, does anyone have any solutions for this problem???

    check that the remote works correctly, try pairing it with a smartphone, if it reacts correctly, try the "xbox accessories" application to configure a new remote like when you set up the elite

    I am also having this issue with two different Xbox Ones and two different media remotes. Most likely a recent update has caused all of our remotes to stop working correctly.

    Sure. First, let's make sure your remote features on your console is setup correctly.

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.
    Select the Enable remote features checkbox.
    Under Power options, select Sleep.
    Note: If your console power mode isn't set to Sleep, remote play won't work

    Once done, sign in the same account to your Xbox app on mobile.
    Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.
    ***Pull down your screen 2 to 3 times to refresh the list
    Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote play on this device.

    Check if your controller works fine after that.

    To my knowledge, the buttons do not light up. If all the buttons are working correctly then I would assume the remote is working fine.

    Do you play games via Cloud gaming or via Remote Play?
    How about your other games? Do they work correctly with your Backbone?
