    Xbox remote play not clicking on website


    im trying to remote play on my xbox to my phone, cloud gaming works perfectly fine, but when I go to remote play and the screen shows up with all my consols, I click on the one I want to remote play but all that happens is the button clicks on screen, then does literally nothing. it’s been like this since the move onto website and I’m unable to figure out how to fix it. another thing that I’m thinking might be an issue is that I’m clicking it with my finger before the Bluetooth controller but idk. any help is good help.

    Yes, the new Xbox app allows you to start a remote play session if you already have your Xbox One configured.

    You can start a remote play session by clicking on the little Xbox icon (consoles) that's next to the notifications icon.
    Once you click on the “consoles” icon, you will be able to select your Xbox and start playing remotely.

    In case you don't see the console after clicking on the icon, please follow these steps:

    “Open the Xbox app for PC.
    Click on your profile picture and select View profile.
    Under Where I play, select the Add a console option and follow the steps shown.”

    How do you control Xbox One with a Universal Remote?

    Just a thought, but have you tried to check out the website for your remote? The website being the manufacturer of your remote :)

    For those with a Logitech Harmony remote, go to
    www.myharmony.com     and upgrade the firmware on your remote. You'll then have the ability to program it for the Xbox One.

    Are you trying to use the remote to directly control the TV? It is my understanding that the remote only directly connects to the Xbox which could then be able to control the TV. Without an Xbox, can this remote be used at all?
