Xbox Remote Play hasn’t worked on iPhones since iphone 13

I have tried 14 pro max, 15 pro, 15 pro max, and 16 pro max, and they all fail after the xbox animation. I can remote play from my other devices and have even tried using those phones as hotspots for working devices and they work fine. 13 pro max works great, but something changed with 14 on. Is Microsoft going to fix this?

I work in IT and have a vast understanding of diagnosing issues and various paths to resolve them. Nothing I have tried works leaving me to assume there is an app compatibility issue. Is it a security setting that needs to be disabled on the phone? Is it a resolution issue?

it works on my 14 Pro Max

One of the things you have to do is renew the security keys frequently by making sure you connect your Xbox on your home Wi-Fi

I’m having the same issue ever since I updated my iPhone. Remote play works fine on my home network but not when I’m disconnected from that particular network.

Hi there, i am using a iPhone 13 max pro ios 16. And my Xbox is a series x. I have done all of the trouble shooting from unplugging my router and Xbox for 5 minutes and all the other trouble shorting steps and still nothing works. The remote play has never worked for me on my device.

I’m using my iPad or iPhone remotely when I play games. No HDMI cable. I reset network settings on my Xbox/iPad as well. No luck.

Unfortunately there’s no way to completely disable the headset on the Xbox, as it automatically assumes a headset is plugged in as soon as I start remote playing on my iPad or iPhone. As soon as I stop remote playing, it goes back to normal.

Ive been having this same issue i used to game fine in my iPhone 12 pro but ever since I got my iPhone 14 pro max I haven't been able to remote play on it from anywhere other than right next to my xbox on the same wifi network. So disappointing
