Xbox Remote Play Difficulties

Make sure your iPhone and your xbox one are connected to the SAME red Wi-Fi. THIS IS NECESSARY for Remote PLAY to Work.

Restart your iPhone and your Xbox One. THIS MAY Fix Any Temporary Problems With Your Devices.

Update the Xbox App on your iPhone. App updates may include bug fixes that may resolve the issue you are experiencing.

TRY LAUNCHING THE ROTOTO GAME FROM A DIFFERENT DEVICE. If you can start the game remotely from another device, it means the problem is related to your iPhone.

Contact Xbox Support. They will be able to help you solve the problem.

TRY STARTING THE ROMOTE GAME FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION. If you are in a location with a weak Wi-Fi signal, remote play may not function properly.

Try starting remote play at a different time. Remote play may be experiencing server issue.

I consider the lack of backward compatibility a fatal flaw. I would rather buy a backup XBox 360 for my future use. Silly me, I have no difficulty controlling my TV and my home entertainment center with a standard remote.

Yes, I agree. This is similar like remote play (app is the same). In the old xbox companion app for remote play you can use 4 controllers to remote play but unfortunally we canot use old xbox companion app with xbox series.

Two different things one companion app is a front end to your xbox for remote play

Xbox app is storefront for pc and remote play and cloud play

There were reports of individuals experiencing difficulties with navigating the store recently, but as per the

Xbox Support twitter page, this has all been resolved.

I would recommend completing your purchase off the Xbox website and then
remotely installing or just installing from your console as the content you have purchased should be showing up, unless its in-game currency.
