    cant enter the xbox live gold radeem code. saying that cant verify the code.

    Codes are region specific so if you bought an out of region code you need to match the region

    Xbox one consoles are region coded to specific regions - game disks for the xbox one console are not coded to regions as per the above link.

    Xbox Live subscription codes are region free, points codes are region specific.

    I know that currency codes are indeed region specific. But codes for the xbox live membership should no longer be region specific. The codes sent through xbox support for various issues are not region specific either.
