Xbox rechargeable battery not working

Hello everyone.

I have an issue. I recently bought a xbox rechargeable battery. I have two controllers and that battery will only works on one. So the battery turns on the first controller and when I switch it into the second one, the battery won’t turn it on.

Also, I have a second battery that works perfectly on both controller. So I assume the issue is not coming from the controller.

Check this support for charge kits and batteries .

Standard AA (LR6) batteries work in your Xbox One Wireless Controller, as do rechargeable AA (LR6) batteries. Note that
regular rechargeable batteries don’t charge in the controller. Recharge these batteries by the method recommended by the manufacturer.

I use rechargeable batteries. I bought ENELOOP's recharging system and it works great. The system has 8 AA rechargeable batteries so I always have power at the ready.

It's really worth it to get rechargeable batteries or a rechargeable Xbox One pack from Insignia like I have... It works great !!!

Let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more, for this try:

A. Clean carefully the rechargeable battery
B. Clean carefully the battery contact in the controller with the issue
C. If you connect a regular AA batteries, the second controller can be used with them?
D. Double check if the second controller firmware is up to date. For this open the accessories app in your console
