    I just started my download of elden ring on my new Xbox and when I put the games disc in the Xbox became really loud like loud enough so I can hear it downstairs it's normally really quiet and my other Xbox has never had this problem

    I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

    It is normal for the console to produce noise when installing a game, but it should not be as loud as you mention. Have you checked if this problem happens to you when installing any game on disk?

    i already called customer support, those were the 3 options he gave me.

    the 70 dollars is an extended 2 year warranty offered by M$.

    so I have 3 options

    1) return it to the store

    2) send it in and wait 2-3 weeks to get it back

    3) pay 70 dollars for the extended warranty

    funny thing, ps4 is offering 3-5 business day replacements on all consoles that were busted out of the box... guess we aren't so lucky.
