    Xbox Public OS Update Timeline from Developer to Public status


    Hey all, when do you think the next Xbox Public OS update release going to be? What is a good general rule of thumb of when the developer OS update becomes public for everyone to use? I know an update was pushed out yesterday, about how long do you think it takes Microsoft to push that out all fixed for the public?

    Hi, it will know and if it was working as normal, would initiate an update to the public build. Because your update is stuck you will need to initiate this via factory reset as stated previously. It may take several attempts but it should get you onto the
    public build.

    Basically you are on the development teams update servers and by removing your Xbox from the program, you go back onto the public update servers. That's the simplest way to explain it.

    If you look at system settings and updates it will tell you what build.You are on

    Then check against the insiders os website to Sri if you are on public release or not
