Xbox Profiles

How do I merge two xbox profiles? One being Xbox360 the other Xboxone ?

AC Origins just appeared in my Library?

Is your profile the only profile on the Xbox? Are you the only one that uses that Xbox?

 

Backwards compatibility question

You can login, make sure you are logged into a profile on your xbox one, then hit the back and start (view and menu) buttons in x360 mode... That brings up the option to sign into profiles and download profiles.

Even if you use another xbox 360 it should let you login to a xbox 360 profile and it should just say it was last signed in on another system. I'd make sure you are signed into a profile, if you are trying splitscreen stuff make sure your friend signs into his xbox one profile before then signing into his xbox 360 profile.

Awkward, but it works. Been busting up borderlands splitscreen in bc for a couple days.

 

It is not possible to merge accounts.

 

What would a body do if they were the creator of two profiles and wanted to continue on but share the monies and points of the two profiles ? Is there any favorable solution?

 

You could always gift a game from one account to the other

 

You could also submit feedback for the option of merging accounts at xbox.uservoice.com

 

Most people generally don't have 2 profiles though. There really isn't much of a need for it.

 

There are some implications that come along with this that might cause some to abuse things by sharing things between two accounts like monies and points....while I am sure for your reason, of by accident holding two it seems favorable...I can see exploiters
quickly finding a loophole that throws certain things out of balance..(off the top of my head microsoft rewards)

 

I do see the issues, I seem to have gotten my self in a mess and while I don't like the answer I guess I'm going to have to live with it .
