    Xbox Profile Picture Not Updating Instantly on Minecraft Hive for Mobile Users


    When I change my Xbox profile picture, it updates successfully on my account. However, when I play on the Minecraft Hive server, it does not immediately show my new picture. Instead, it still displays the old one for a long time before finally updating. I play on an Android mobile device, and my sister experiences the same issue. Meanwhile, players on PC see their profile pictures update almost instantly after making changes on Xbox. Is there a specific reason why this delay happens on mobile? Are there different policies or technical limitations that cause profile updates to take longer on Android devices compared to PC? If so, is there any way to improve or speed up the synchronization process for mobile users? This issue makes it frustrating for mobile players who want to see their updated profile pictures immediately. I would appreciate any guidance on why this happens and whether there is a way to fix or improve it.

    I’m afraid to say that as the console companion app was discontinued, at the moment is possible to change our profile picture on the Xbox mobile app.

    Hopefully, Microsoft will allow the PC users to change the profile picture for a custom one in a future update for the Xbox app.

    I know this can be frustrating, but you can try asking a family member or friend, their phone temporarily, just to change your profile picture for the one you want.
