    XBOX Profile Picture - Doesn't Update right away


    Hi,

    I am trying to update my custom profile picture on her XBOX account through my iOS app. I used to upload my custom profile picture and it would update right away, even after it mentioned that the profile picture will update after review. Now, I tried it tonight, but it's not updating right away like it used to. What should I go from here?

    I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your gamerpic. I replied to a similar issue from other users regarding this. Typically, you just need to wait for the system to process and update your gamerpic. Changes to your gamerpic go through a verification process, which can take 24-48 hours. If verification is required, submitting multiple times may reset the process, causing further delays.

    Yes you are correct, but that doesn't show you the official xbox profile pics you can choose from, from your xbox.

    When I signed up here, I had to give this forum access to my xbox and data, doing so it used my xbox profile picture. Now that I changed my xbox profile picture it obviously doesn't automatically update here on the forum.

    It disconnects you because of a game update. Xbox is very forceful about the applicating of their updates and you will not be able to go online at all playing a game that is not up to date.

    As for your profile picture...go to the guide (the center 'X' button) and go all the way over to the right. Go to profile settings and you should see an option for profile picture.

    ON these forums it doesn't allow you to choose xbox profile pictures. you can upload a manual one, but not choose an xbox profile picture
