Xbox profile not receiving party or game invites

I've had this problem for at least a week where I don't receive invites to parties or to games. I have no issue starting parties, or inviting others and they have no problems joining me. I also don't think it's the console blocking them because I don't receive
them on the mobile app either.

I've already tried every solution I can find online including:

power cycling the console,

alternate MAC address,

deleting my profile and reinstalling it,

performing a factory reset,

unchecking all the notifications and rechecking them,

clearing my console's cache,

and uninstalling the companion app from my phone

I'm out of ideas so if anyone has found a new solution or has any experience with this issue I'd appreciate the help.

Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?

Sometime if you are in early update rings (Insider), issues like these will appear from time to time. Otherwise, try what the others have suggested

I'm not in the insider program, but thank you for mentioning.

You probably need to go into your privacy settings and change the setting that pertains to who you receive invites and messages from. If it's on Blocked, you will not be able to receive these things.

A. Press the Xbox button in the middle of the controller

B. Go to system tab

C. Select settings

D. Select account

E. Select privacy and online safety

F. Select Xbox Live privacy

G. Select view details & customize

H. Select Multiplayer and communication (find the setting that asks from who to receive invites, texts, etc.. set to either Everyone or Friends)

Checked this. It was already set to everybody, I tried toggling back and forth also but still no luck.

I still have the same problem. But this is the third thread started about it in the last month.

Same dude, just cause of it i missed out on something rare.
