Xbox Profile is not recognized when entering in a 360 game through Xbox ONE

Hi there

We have a problema launching a game in Xbox ONE from the backward compatibility

When entering in a 360 game, appears the messagem "Data will not be saved, controller sellected didn't connected to a profile player. To save configuration and progresso, please, enter with a profile"

We did the following troubleshoot: Removed all profiles, cleared cache, cleared Storage data from 360, Power cycle console. After it, we downloaded profile again, but the issue persist, so, we exausted all TS possible

If helps, the first time we try to connect to a 360 game, the game displayed an option to choose a profile, but we had a connection failure and this message did not show again

Can you guys give us a solution for this issue? How can we enable the console or games to request a profile again

you enter your credit card info and download your profile online. which xbox?? 360 or One?

Im having trouble following what your saying.

Did you make a new xbox one gamertag, and all the games you played on the 360 were a different gamertag? If so I would think (IDK for SUre) that you would need to use the gamertag that you had for the 360.Click to expand...

NO. When you start playing an Xbox 360, bring up the Xbox 360 guide to sign in. If you don't see your profile click the Download Profile option. It will have you enter your email and password. Then you will be able to select your Gamertag to sign in. I didn't know it was that difficult?

Have you tried pressing the (windows button and menu button) down at the same time followed by going to settings and then profiles delete your gamertag and re-recover it?

Y0daG33k we already removed all profiles of the console, then, turned off console pressing the power button for 10 sec. Also, we removed the power supply for about min. After it, we turned on console, entering with the profile again, and the issue persisted

It's like the account is unable to "link" with the Backward compatibility games, always showing the message the profile was not loaded, and that game and save data will not be saved.

We wanted a way to "force the system" to request a profile to select, then, it'll be able to proceed, but, for some unknown reason, this option is unavailable, or, we're not able to find it

Just enter with your profile in a console 360, let a game running and when you try to enter in the Xbox ONE again, you'll be able to play backward compatibility games

Hey wreckinballdeck,

Your Xbox One profile is the same as your Xbox 360 profile. They are not separate. When the Xbox 360 emulation screen appears when you launch some of the Rare Replay games, just press the Menu and View buttons at the same time, then select Download Profile
and enter the information for the profile on the Xbox One.

Thank you for your help, but after I select to download a profile, appears a message saying "can't connect to xbox live".

When I open the xbox guide menu, in the home tab appears "sign in (0 profiles)".

It seems the emulator is not recognizing my xbox one profile, because is not being able to connect to xbox live.

I tried with a different game but it didn't work either...

If I buy a 2nd hand xbox 360, is it possible to create a offline profile, put it in a USB stick and connect to the xbox one? and will the emulator be able to use that 360 profile through the manage storage option in the xbox guide home tab?
