    Hey, so I have just heard that this isn't something that currently exists I think. Could it be possible to switch Xbox accounts to different Microsoft accounts because my Xbox account was made from my moms outlook email making the Microsoft account. What I want to do is to switch my Xbox account over from her email and Microsoft account to my new email and Microsoft account. I can see a simple solution to it or have an idea, I just need help making it possible. So yeah my Xbox account is on my moms email and Microsoft account. I wanted to switch her email from hers to my email basically like a sign in and change emails on your Xbox account like, say how you can change your email password but its the email for your Xbox account. I want to connect my Xbox account to my new Microsoft account and email. I hope that this challenge can be a possibility because I just really want to be able to sign into my Xbox account with my email and have it on my Microsoft account. side note me making my own Microsoft account automatically made me a new Xbox account. I want to be able to unlink or even terminate that one and link my old one.



    One other problem, Its about fortnite and epic games. I accidentally unlinked my fortnite account off of my Xbox In the process of trying to change my account. I've tried basically everything I know. Its all complicated yet very simple, so please help if you can. It would be so appreciated. Id probably have to contact Epic about that Though I just thought id bring it up because it had something to do with my Xbox. Anyways thank you.

    Can I move an Xbox account (set up for my kids years ago) off of my main Microsoft account?

    Can I change the email on the overall Microsoft account (that the Xbox profile is linked to) to my child's email, and then setup a new Microsoft account with my original email so I can then just use my Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) subscription from that?

    My issue is I need to keep my Office subscription with my email address - - which is also the address of the Microsoft account overall. And my email / Microsoft account is linked to the Xbox profile used by my child.

    to change the email address connected to your xbox live account (used for loggin in and downloading the profile etc), please follow the steps on this link:

    support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

    If there are currently somehow two profiles connected to the same email address (Microsoft Account) try changing one of the accounts to another Microsoft Account (email address) that might fix the issue

    There is no way that a Microsoft account is linked to a Xbox profile with another email address. The Xbox account is part of your Microsoft account, so both use the same email address to sign in.

    If you linked the Xbox profile from the Microsoft account that has the active Game Pass Ultimate subscription, then it will work. If the Xbox profile you added is from a different Microsoft account (another email address), there is no way around this.

    Hi CurledHalo12,

    You need

    - Download profile/GT in your Xbox 360 with Email that you need in other profile (lets call Unwanted profile/GT)

    - Change MS Account in that email to set free the email and be able to add it in your main GT (Wanted profile/GT).Yes you need to create another email/Microsoft account.

    Note: You may face issue to change Microsoft account/Email in Unwanted profile. This because need to wait 30 days to be able to change it in new profile/GT.

    - Let's said you are able, then with your wanted email must add it in your wanted profile/GT
