    Hello,

    Whenever I share a screenshot that has been downloaded to my Xbox Live online storage (for screenshots and videos) to a friend in a Private Message, they cannot see the screenshot.

    It tells them: "We can't find the item you're looking for, try again in a while, if you still can't find it, it may have been deleted."

    It's been 2 or 3 months already (lost count).

    When I share the screenshot from the Xbox App on my phone. Same problem!

    However they can see the images that I share that come from my phone's own memory (not related to Xbox Live).

    Why is this happening? How can we fix this?

    I'm seriously getting TIRED of this problem. It's unacceptable!

    PS: Also, maybe it happened ever since I've changed my gamertag. It was a xbox360 gamertag I had for over a decade, and I decided to change it on Series X. I don't know if it can help target the cause, but maybe it will).

    Your solution actually worked!

    I was so desperate until this point but my problem is now Solved.

    For me in:

    Settings > General > Online safety & family.
    Select Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Game content.

    And then in "Others can see your game clips and screenshots", it was set to "Myself only" for some reason (I don't know how it was set like that. It's the first time I come to this menu).

    I changed it "Friends".

    Given the fact that you have the exact same problem while sharing a screenshot on both your Xbox Series X and the Xbox app for smartphones, that means that the problem is most likely related to your account's settings, or something else related to your account.

    On your Xbox, go to Settings > General > Online safety & family.

    Select Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Game content.

    Make sure that all of the following options are set to Allow:

    - You can share game clips and screenshots

    - Others can see your game clips and screenshots

    - You can see and upload community creations

    - You can broadcast gameplay

    - You can share content made using Kinect or another camera

    It has been an issue for the entire time i had xbox game bar but im not always sent Ss or captures from friends. It only happens when a friend shares a screenshot or a capture in messages (it works on the regular xbox app) and yes i have.     The capture menu on your phone is meant for videos and screenshots you captured on Xbox and on PC using the Game Bar. You can't capture Minecraft on your iOS through Xbox. You'll need to use a third party app for that.

    I want I created a new Captures folder in my videos, however all my screenshots and video captures are still being saved in 'Temp'
