Xbox preview program question

this is kind of a 2 in 1 question, but if I get recommended for preview program is it limited to this console? I'm borrowing my brothers and will be getting my own soon but it'll be pointless to sign up for it if it's locked to this console. And I was
on preview program on 360 anyway that I'm in it automatically on the One too?

No it is limited to the account owner, so as long as you are being recommended for the account you want it on you will be fine.

 

The preview program is also locked to the console. If you purchase your own console in the future you will have to register it and your brother will continue to get updates to his console as well.
