Xbox Preview Program Query

Hi,

I have been on the Xbox preview program for the last few days however according to my Xbox account, I am not a member. I have tried accessing the preview program forum but it says the page could not be found. I am enrolled and has been receiving dashboard
updates.

Any ideas?

I was invited to the preview program by my friend last month didn't receive and invite. I then contacted support and was told i would receive an invite on the 1st of july and i didn't receive one. I cant access the preview forums because it gives me a 404
error. So what do i do?

Not everyone gets into the program.

 

My friend sent me several invites and I haven't gotten anything does anyone know

 

@Pork go to settings and select Console to check your OS version. If you are on version 1408 then you are indeed in the program and should send a PM to Mister Fizzle. One of his posts can be found here

@Romo when a friend invites you, you have to be accepted by Microsoft. Not everyone who gets an invite from a friend gets accepted.

 

There is no rhyme or reason to who they pick for the preview program.. I was told this by preview support. As a matter of fact I was accepted into the program by a gamer tag I created just a few weeks ago not the one that has been GOLD for 6 years. So its
not about being special like some people would have you think and there is nothing specific about who they select to get in. You either get in or don't..
