Xbox power issues - can’t log repair

Hi. My issue is two fold.

The main issue is my son’s Xbox One X won’t start up. We went away for a week and when we came back it would not power on. The power indicator lights up for a few seconds but nothing else happens. There is a strange electrical/mechanical sound even without anything in the drive. Following the trouble shooting help I found I have held the power button for a minute, reseated the power cord connections, changed socket, taken the cord out for ten seconds to do a psu reset and nothing has worked.

This leads on to the second part of the issue - when attempting to book a repair I get as far as explaining the problem and then when it asks me to add my address I just get an error page come up, lose my progress and I cannot proceed any further and actually book the repair.

My son is autistic and it’s causing him a fair amount of distress not being able to use the Xbox. Any assistance in progressing this case would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion Ricardo. Unfortunately a no go. It’s not giving me a list of address to choose from (even though I’ve now only got the one correct one - thanks for that) I’ve only got the option to add a new address that takes me to the error page. Live chat didn’t get me very far though I might give it another try in the morning.

It seems like a similar issue. But my sons is not even getting to the initial power on logo before it falls over. I have a feeling it’s the system board is kaput.

If the error comes at the moment of adding the address, please try registering the address from here prior the request

If that doesn't work please add the device to a different Microsoft account and try from that account

Finally if this doesn't wor, will be necessary to contact Xbox support, don't use the call back option, try the live chat

Hi. I recently posted a similar issue I am having with my XBX (take a look) I have also tried everything. I am not looking forward to going through support with this issue as it seems difficult
